Dr. Kensey Cross
Dr. Cross has been with us since August 2016 and is our acting Medical Director. Following a dream to become a veterinarian, Dr. Cross graduated with a bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of Minnesota in 2009. After working as a Research Associate in vaccine development for 2 years, she continued her education at the University of Minnesota and earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Following graduation, Dr. Cross pursued an additional year of advanced training, completing an internship with BluePearl Veterinary Partners in Chicago.
Dr. Cross has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, ophthalmology, and feline medicine. She also works as an emergency veterinarian at an emergency clinic when not at New Hope Animal Hospital. In her spare time, Dr. Cross enjoys flying trapeze, rock climbing, knitting, bird watching, hiking/camping and gardening. She also enjoys spending time with her husband at home with all of their animals.The crazy bunch includes her Border Collie, Archie, five cats, Effie, Goose, Turkey, Mitchell, and Chaz and nine chickens
